Hilton needs to take immediate action to rectify this situation and ensure that guests' concerns are addressed promptly. It is clear that security measures and guest satisfaction are not a priority at this location. The theft of my laptop, coupled with the hotel's inadequate response and lack of communication, has left a lasting negative impression on me. I strongly urge potential guests to reconsider staying at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Philadelphia - Convention Center. To make matters worse, my attempts to reach out to him have been met with complete silence, leaving me feeling frustrated and unheard as a valued guest and HHonors Diamond member.

However, it has now been two months since our correspondence, and I have received no update or compensation whatsoever.

When I contacted the manager again, he told me to send him an email about my loss and I promptly provided him with all the requested details. The manager assured me that the hotel's insurance company would compensate for my loss within 20-30 days, but nothing happened for the next month. Immediately upon discovering the theft, I reported the incident to the hotel's security and local authorities. During my stay, my laptop was stolen from my room on the night of March 21st. As a dedicated HHonors Diamond member for a decade, I expected a higher level of service and security from Hilton, but sadly, this was not the case. I recently stayed at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Philadelphia - Convention Center, PA, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of disappointing. Then we requested another housekeeping lady and she catered our request (similar to what we experience in other hotels).… Guess what, no one came and replaced the linens in next couple of hours. The housekeeping lady here asked me to make the request at the housekeeping number, which we did. But linens are changed by the in-floor housekeeping staffs gladly on requests. I know it is a common practice now after covid at all the hotels and housekeeping service is not scheduled during the tenure of the stay. She said we are not in the service list, as we are not checking out that day. We requested the in-floor housekeeping staff for the same. We needed to change the linens and clear the trash can after the second night. Many other restaurants are at walking distance. However, the Reading Terminal Market is just across the street, where plenty of options are available for breakfast and lunch. Better quality and more item options are generally available in similar priced hotels. The open roof hop on hop off bus boarding point is just next to the hotel, if you want to avail that. The historic landmarks, shopping places are within walking distance. The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the City Hall. We stayed at this hotel for our family vacation in Philly.
